The CommunityCare Registry

The CommunityCare Registry (CCR) can assist those in need with hiring pre-screened, self-employed home care workers who provide various services, including personal care, housekeeping, shopping, meal preparation and caregiver relief.

These experienced home care workers have the qualifications, time availability, and hourly rates (starting at $10.00 an hour) to match your personal needs. As a program participant, you interview and select the home care worker of your choice.

Home care workers listed with the CCR have completed a pre-screened process that includes:

• A State Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCI&I) Screening
• CCR Workshop
• Two Professional Reference Letters
• A Negative Tuberculosis (TB) Screening

CCR is also available to provide referrals and information about senior related programs and services.
